If you are a student in an accredited PT/OT or related program we want you to have access to one of the best tools you can have for patient education – Move-Rx. The importance of patients doing their “homework” is well documented. Move-Rx helps your patients remember what you teach them in the clinic and improves communications between you and your patients.
So, how do you sign up? It’s easy and takes about 2 minutes:
Step 1 – Choose your subscription type. If you are a student select the Student option.
Step 2 – Fill out your information. All fields are required. You need to enter your password twice so you are certain it is correct. You must choose a Credential and click the “I accept the Terms and Conditions” box to continue.Your login ID can be anything but must be unique to the system. If someone already has the ID that you are trying, it will tell you that you need to try something else. You can use your email address for a login ID if you want.
Passwords must be at least 6 characters long and can contain anything (letters, numbers, punctuation, etc.) Passwords are case-sensitive.
Step 3 – Your account will be set up and your subscription started immediately. Click the “Continue” button to get some important information about your subscription and links to some short tutorials on how to use Move-Rx.Now, to log in to Move-Rx, simply go to www.move-rx.com and enter your login ID and password. If you forget your login ID or password there are links there to help you recover those.
Student accounts are good for 6 months. After 6 months, if you are still a student, you can renew your subscription and continue using Move-Rx. You can use Move-Rx in the classroom or the clinic – even when you are doing your field work. There are no limits to the number of patients, prescriptions or clinics you can create.
There is extensive help information available throughout the system by clicking the question mark buttons. You can also see the entire help system by clicking the Help tab in the upper right of the screen. When you graduate, you can convert your account to a regular account and continue using Move-Rx, including all of the customizations that you may make, with your patients.
